Noctis Occult : in the beginning
Some people find the occult.
Others are born into it.
For me, there was never really a beginning — only a slow realization that what I was experiencing wasn’t normal.
As a child, I grew up around something I couldn’t explain. What many would later call a poltergeist. Objects moved, atmospheres shifted, and there was a constant sense that something unseen was present — watching, waiting. At that age, you don’t have the language for it. You just know something isn’t right.
That experience stayed with me. It didn’t frighten me away — it pulled me in.
From Fear to Curiosity
As I grew older, that early exposure turned into something else: curiosity.
Not the surface-level kind, but a deep, almost obsessive need to understand what sits just beyond the veil. I was drawn not just to ghost stories, but to dark history, folklore, and the mechanics behind the unseen world.
Horror films, grimoires, case studies — anything that explored the unknown became part of my world. But I wasn’t interested in fiction alone. I wanted experience. Real encounters. Real evidence.
That led me beyond books and into the field.
Vigils, Hauntings, and Real Encounters
Over the years, I’ve deliberately placed myself in environments where most people wouldn’t stay five minutes — let alone overnight.
I’ve held vigils in Scotland connected to the infamous Mackenzie Poltergeist — an entity with a reputation that goes far beyond campfire stories. I’ve spent nights alone in Edinburgh’s underground vaults, cut off from the outside world, where the air itself feels heavy with something ancient.
And then there’s Chillingham Castle — a place steeped in violence, history, and something that still lingers in its walls.
These weren’t thrill-seeking experiences. They were part of a process — learning to read environments, understand presence, and most importantly, to stand my ground in spaces where others feel overwhelmed.
Walking the Darker Path
Curiosity eventually led me deeper — into practice.
I began exploring black magic, not from a place of recklessness, but from a place of study and respect. The Ars Goetia became a key influence, along with pathworking — direct engagement with entities through ritual and controlled invocation.
This isn’t something to approach lightly. It requires discipline, awareness, and a strong sense of self. Through this work, I came to understand that the occult isn’t about fantasy — it’s about interaction, consequence, and control.
You don’t dabble in these things. You either commit to understanding them, or you walk away.
I chose to understand.
From Practitioner to Professional
Over time, what began as personal exploration became something more.
I stepped into the role of a working occult practitioner — a professional witch — helping others deal with situations they couldn’t explain or handle alone.
This includes one of the most serious aspects of my work:
Removing dark and malevolent entities from homes and businesses.
These aren’t abstract ideas or imagined fears. I’ve worked with families who felt trapped in their own homes — drained, distressed, and unable to break free from whatever had attached itself to their space.
Through structured ritual, protection work, and direct confrontation, I’ve helped clear these environments — restoring balance and giving people their lives back.
It’s not glamorous work. It’s not something you take lightly.
But it’s necessary.
What This Path Taught Me
Everything I’ve experienced — from childhood encounters to controlled ritual work — has shaped how I see the world.
I don’t see the occult as something separate from reality.
It is part of reality — just one that most people never fully acknowledge.
I’ve learned that belief alone isn’t enough. Experience matters. Discipline matters. And understanding the balance between light and dark is essential if you’re going to walk this path without being consumed by it.
The Birth of Noctis Occult
Noctis Occult wasn’t created as just another clothing brand.
It’s an extension of this path.
Every design, every symbol, every piece of imagery draws from real experience — from occult tradition, dark history, and the unseen forces that have shaped my journey.
Sigils, symbols, and occult imagery aren’t just aesthetic choices — they carry meaning, intent, and power. That understanding is woven into the brand itself.
Noctis is about more than clothing.
It’s about identity.
It’s about those who feel drawn to the darker edges of existence — who don’t shy away from the unknown, but step toward it.
Final Words
This path isn’t for everyone.
But for those who feel it — who recognise that pull toward something deeper, darker, and more real than surface-level life — you’ll understand exactly what I mean when I say:
You don’t choose the veil.
The veil chooses you.
